Privacy Policy
PicFlux is an iPhone app made and operated by an independent developer (“PicFlux”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use PicFlux, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Contact: support@picflux.app.
What we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive an account identifier and an email address. With Apple this may be a private relay address. With Google we may also receive your name and profile picture.
- What you create with. The photos you add, the prompts and scripts you type, and the voice you choose.
- What you create. The videos, images and audio we generate for you, and records of each request (model, settings, credits used).
- Purchases. Apple processes all payments. We receive the product and a transaction identifier, never your card or bank details.
- Server logs. Like any web service, our servers record IP addresses and request details, which we use for security and debugging.
PicFlux contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not sell your data.
How we use it
- To create what you ask for and keep it in your library.
- To run your account and credit balance, including automatic refunds when a creation fails.
- To keep the service safe: prompts and images are checked automatically to block sexual, violent or otherwise prohibited content.
- To answer support requests and to prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not use your photos or creations to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
Before your first photo upload, the app asks for your permission to send photos to these providers. They process data only to perform the service:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| WaveSpeed, fal.ai | Running the AI models that generate your videos, images and voices |
| fal.ai, Cloudflare Workers AI | Automated safety checks on images and prompts |
| Cloudflare R2 | Storing the photos you upload |
| Amazon Web Services, Turso | Running our servers and database |
| RevenueCat | Recording in-app purchases so credits reach your account |
| Apple, Google | Sign-in, and payments (Apple) |
These providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States.
How long we keep it
- Your account, library and credit history are kept for as long as your account exists.
- Uploaded photos are kept until you delete your account.
- Generated files are served from our AI providers’ storage, which removes them on the providers’ own schedules. Save anything you want to keep to your Photos library.
- Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging.
Deleting your data
Open Profile → Delete account in the app. This permanently deletes your account, library records, credit history and uploaded photos. You can also email us to delete your account or to ask for a copy or correction of your data. We may keep purchase records where the law requires it.
Children
PicFlux is for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app.
